We are the HigherSelf Community. The HigherSelf Community is a collaborative of for-profit and non-
profit organizations dedicated to the social healing and economic rebuilding of Black communities.
Our mission is to support the rebuilding of Black communities. There are countless
unheralded grass root contributors working to support, stabilize and rebuild Black
communities socially and economically. We recognize and support those important community
building efforts through the HigherSelf Awards™.
It is our vision to see Black communities with economic and social systems and institutions
that are self-sustaining and create economic and social prosperity.
